Abstract: |
The evaluation recorded the east side of a large, north-east/south-west orientated post-medieval channel. A visual inspection of the River Thames foreshore along the east side of the site recorded a small area of gravel. No artefacts or structures were recorded. The location of the gravel, alongside a pier base for the railway bridge, might suggest a recent date for its accumulation. [Au(abr)] |
