Abstract: |
The desk-top appraisal revealed that several Roman pottery kilns were located about 100m from the application area. Numerous other kiln sites were identified within 1km of the site. Although a geophysical survey covering about a third of the site did not identify any anomolies of a probable archaeological origin, the potential of the site was considered high. [Au(abr)] |
