Abstract: |
The 2006 excavation season identified seven structural phases. North-south ditches underlay an east-west ditch, with later timber buildings and an early corn-drying oven over these remains. Later burying and demolition of the buildings and the levelling of a ditch perhaps related to an earlier aisled hall and a hexagonal building, with a later aisled hall encountered as well. Baths had been added to the aisled hall along with other additions and finally, evidence that the baths had been rebuilt was noted. [Au(adp)] |
