Abstract: |
A second phase of evaluation in advance of a housing development identified further archaeological features including a steep-sided ditch/gully of Roman date, post-medieval pits, a shallow linear feature, raised trackway and vestiges of ridge and furrow. The lack of further Iron Age features enabled the extent of the settlement identified in the previous evaluation to be estimated. [AIP] |
