Abstract: |
A program of trial excavations were carried out on the site. Most of the archaeology was concentrated in the north west zone of the site. The earliest feature was a Roman pit. A series of ditches and a gully were identified dating to a late Saxon date and several ditches of unknown date were exposed across the site. [Au(abr)] |
