Abstract: |
Scheduled Monument Consent was granted for a programme of hand excavated trial pits to expose exsisting water mains. The trial pits lay within or adjacent to Minchinhampton Common, a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM 13806). The majority of the 25 trial pits located the service trenches, however, undisturbed natural deposits were exposed in some of the trenches. No archaeological features or deposits were present.[Au(abr)] |
