Abstract: |
A trial trench excavation and an auger survey was carried out on the proposed development site. The auger survey identified that the site was marginal land until the land was drained and levelled during the medieval period. Medieval backplots containing ditches and pits were identified, along with structural remains of an early post-medieval building. [Au(abr)] |
