Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken on six machine-cut holes for posts and stays necessary for the reconstruction of a high-voltage overhead line. The re-routing of the line took it through part of the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Kilgram Medieval Monastic Grange. None of the holes cut any significant earthworks apart from Hole 4, which cut the edge of a stone-built building; this was likely to be a field barn of probable medieval date. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
