Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of an extension to a dock. Dapdune Wharf formed part of the Wey Navigation system, created in 1652 and extended in 1760. During the evaluation, evidence for the extension of the wharfage at Dapdune on more than one occasion was recorded. It was recommended that an archaeological watching brief should be carried out during the proposed works. [Au(abr)] |
