Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment, a geophysical survey and an earlier watching brief of the proposed wind farm identified several areas of potential archaeological interest. The archaeological watching brief consisted of the recording of ten trial trenches which were sited at the positions of the proposed turbines, the electrical substation and meteorological mast. Although no artefacts or archaeological features were discovered the area was still likely to possess a considerable archaeological potential [Au(abr)] |
