Abstract: |
A gradiometer survey, covering approximately 0.75ha, was carried out on a 'brown field' site east of Peaks Lane. Unfortunately much of the site proved to be unsuitable for survey due to the presence of earth bunds, scrub vegetation and surface and sub-surface disturbance. In the areas where survey was possible the data was characterised by anomalies indicating further disturbance due to service pipes, drains and further tipping. One linear anomaly which may have an archaeological anomaly was identified. [Au(abr)] |
