Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken to monitor groundworks associated with an extension to the rear of the property. A stone lined well and a small section of drystone wall were revealed and were both probably post-medieval. The area had been heavily disturbed by modern building activity which may have sealed or destroyed archaeological deposits of Roman or medieval periods. [AIP] |
