Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during renovation and structural modification at a Norman church. Victorian brick vaults, an undated grave and possibly re-used medieval masonry were observed within the south transept, and disarticulated human bone was found during excavations for an external drainage trench. The absence of grave cuts suggested that the bones did not derive from graves disturbed by the construction of the modern path. [Au(adp)] |
