Abstract: |
Probable archaeological deposits and features consisted of medieval pitting and garden soil and a Roman cemetery. The principle impact of the proposed works would involve the removal of all archaeological deposits and features, which currently survived beneath the modern ground level in areas outside of the existing building to a level of c.14.8m OD. The report concluded that further investigation might be necessary to determine the exact nature and dept of such deposits. [Au(abr)] |
