Abstract: |
Fieldwalking was undertaken as part of a project creating a Millennium Green. This revealed a scatter of finds of the prehistoric, Roman, medieval, and post-medieval periods. A former trackway possibly of medieval date was also identified across the site. The remains of a limekiln and a small stone quarry represented post-medieval industrial activity in the vicinity of the site. [Au] |
