Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during the redevelopment of the site for car parking. A previous evaluation had revealed medieval and post-medieval occupation in the northern 50m of the investigation area. The monitoring did not uncover further evidence relating to the medieval occupation of the area. This demonstrated that the archaeological mitigation strategy put in place to protect the archaeology had been successful. [Au(adp)]
