Abstract: |
An archaeological survey, comprising of a sketch survey, augering and a single test pit was carried out on the site of two ponds within a complex of medieval settlement earthworks at North End Farm, Bletsoe. The results of the survey demonstrated that the ponds were likely to have occupied the sites of post-medieval quarries or brick pits and that the the deposits contained within them to be of limited archaeological potential.
