Abstract: |
Evidence for four phases of reclamation dating from the 15th century or earlier through to the early 18th century were identified during a desk based survey and field evaluation comprising four trenches of the quay on Suttons Wharf. One unusual find was that of a sherd of Spanish Valencian lustreware dating to the period 1425-1475 which was very rare in southern England. [AIP] |
