Abstract: |
Unauthorised works to the Scheduled Ancient Monument at Pinock and Hyde Round Barrows, Temple Guiting were assessed by archaeological recording. Ploughing had reduced the unploughed area from 55m by 20m to 17m by 11m, leaving only part of Barrrow three unploughed; it was likely that the four other known barrows in this part of the barrow cemetery have been severely damaged if not completely destroyed.
