Abstract: |
Eighteen trial trenches were excavated prior to the proposed residential redevelopment of the site. The evaluation identified a number of ditches probably representing elements of a field system, although only two were datable. One was believed to date to the Roman period and the other one, a double ditch, to the medieval period. [Au(adp)] |
