Abstract:
The evaluation was undertaken on the quarry site. The geophysical survey and trial trenching established the presence of linear earthworks, which were probable post-medieval field boundaries. To the east of the boundary were several pits, some of which may have been undated quarries and others of natural origin. No artefactual evidence was recovered from these pits. [Au(abr)]
