Abstract:		 An archaeological excavation was carried out on the site. The earliest feature encountered was a late Saxon enclosure. Medieval pits were excavated and a clay lined well and a stone lined well were also identified as being from this period. Further pits dating from the early post-medieval period were identified along with a 19th century well. [Au(abr)]
