Abstract: |
Three trenches were excavated within the site. Within the northernmost trench, a single feature was identified and is likely to have been caused by animal activity and contained a single piece of 17th century residual pottery. Identified in the southernmost trench was a single post, set in a posthole containing 17th century pottery and a sub-circular feature also containing 17th century pottery and a high quality of brick and tile fragments, likely to be a refuse pit.
