Abstract: |
The assessment found that the two areas proposed for the extension of the quarry had high potential for archaeology. The eastern area contained an enclosure and possible Roman settlement, the southern area had a spread of lithic material and a complex of ditches. Medieval and post-medieval ditches and finds were present in both areas, relating to agricultural use. [Au(abr)] |
