Abstract: |
<summary>A programme of archaeological survey and a combination of rescue and salvage excavation were undertaken along the proposed route of the pipeline. A total of 43 archaeological features were examined and recorded. Most of these features were related to three different periods or types of activity, namely, a prehistoric field system and associated features, later medieval field boundaries and lynchets, and 19th century lead-mining. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
