Abstract: |
All the trenches showed evidence that much of the ground surface had been truncated through modern ploughing. Numerous sherds of pottery were recovered from topsoil contexts, including several fragments dating from the 11th to 13th centuries, which probably related to early medieval occupation and farming in the surrounding area.
