Abstract: |
During the groundworks for the construction of two town houses, a well of brick and chalk was exposed, and thought to be of post-medieval date. In addition, two pits dating to the 12th to 13th centuries were discovered. These contained finds including an unusual sherd from a lugged cooking vessel. [Au(abr)] |
