Abstract: |
<summary>The continuation of evaluation work at the proposed Mendip Business Park clarified the nature and extent of the remains of the extensive Fosse Lane Roman settlement. Small enclosures and areas of activity marked the eastern perimeter of the settlement, more intensive occupation being found to the west. The focus of the settlement was close to the Roman road, the Fosse Way. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
