Abstract: |
The deep cellaring evident in the existing exchange building probably resulted in the removal of most of the high quality archaeology. The evaluation demonstrated unequivocally that between service trenches, post-medieval cellaring and other modern disturbances, important complex multi-period and deeply stratified archaeological remains survived. These included post-medieval cellars, walls, and flagstone surfaces. [Au(adp)] |
