Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on the site. Trenches were excavated over features identified by an earlier geophysical survey. A prehistoric droveway which was identified by the geophysical survey was uncovered but could not be dated. A five ditch system was uncovered of an Iron Age date. A settlement was identified of Iron Age to Roman date and may have had a Roman stone built structure. [Au(abr)] |
