Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment and photographic and drawing surveys were unaccented on an 18th century water and steam corn and flour mill, a grade II listed building. The mill was the subject of a planning application proposing to convert the structure into a dwelling. Documentary research established the sequence of ownership of the mill from 1784 to the present day, and looked at other documentary records detailing the history of the land in the estate in relation to the structural history of the building.
