Abstract: |
The assessment identifed two areas of potential at the site, that of historical evidence of activity, and also prehistoric deposits below a peat layer. It was thought possible that areas of the medieval village may have escaped truncation by basementing. Prehistoric deposits, if recovered, would potentially be archaeologically significant.
