Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on a trial trench at the Mount School. Roman burials are known to exist within the immediate vicinity. Two substantial leveling deposits were uncovered containing modern debris, residual medieval pottery, and Roman building material. The lower of these deposits sealed a rectilinear cut of unknown purpose or date. [Au(abr)] |
