Abstract:
A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of foundation trenches for the poles of an overhead electricity power cable. Although the route of the power cable was known to be within areas where large quantities of Romano-British pottery wasters and kiln material had been found, no archaeological features or deposits were identified within any of the eight foundation trenches examined.
