Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed development area. The site was identified as having a high potential for archaeology. The site contains known Roman and Saxon settlements, medieval landscaping and a post-medieval deer park. The site is also in an area of prehistoric occupation. Further work was recommended.
