Abstract: |
Excavation in advance of creation of a pedestrian amenity area revealed medieval deposits first observed in test pits. A metalled surface of probable 14th century date with two phases of surfacing and two pits were revealed as were later post-medieval pits. This was the first clear archaeological evidence for medieval Peckham.[AIP] |
