Abstract: |
Three evaluation trenches excavated on land proposed for development revealed three ditches and an 'L'-shaped length of flat-bottomed possible foundation trench. None of the features examined produced no dating evidence although worked and burnt flint, animal bone, shell and iron were recovered. The location and alignment of the features suggested a concentration of archaeological activity within the northern part of the proposed development area. [Au] |
