Abstract: |
During the course of the watching brief seven sections were cut through field boundaries along the route of the corridor. These boundaries demonstrated that present day boundaries preserved evidence within their structure for how they developed from the medieval period to the present day. A Neolithic flint scatter was identified which was thought to be the result of short term or seasonal use c.3000 BC. A large assemblage of post-medieval artefacts was also recovered from the corridor, which were associated with the development of the historic settlements of Kingsand and Cawsand.[Au(abr)] |
