Abstract: |
Desk top assessment of the proposed site of a public health building revealed that the south-east corner of a complex of Roman forts lay on the site. Three Neolithic flints had been recovered during previous excavation of the forts, and several undated burnt mounds had been recorded to the west. It was proposed that an evaluation should be carried out. [AIP] |
