Abstract: |
The part survey of Liddington Castle Hillfort was conducted to identify the erosion scarring in order to consolidate and repair the scars. The work provided classification of the results of earlier investigations, along with tentative evidence that the final phase of the rampart construction included a timber palisade, and that the preceding phase may have contained some internal timbering. Two sherds of prehistoric pottery were also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
