Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of test-pits, dug to assess the condition of the boundary wall of a proposed development site. The full depth of the old town boundary wall, which was probably of early medieval origin, was revealed within two test-pits. Three fragments of 17th century pottery were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
