Abstract:
A cultural heritage assessment was undertaken as part of an Environmental Statement. A detailed assessment was undertaken and impacts to the archaeological and historical environment were considered. Of the impacts discussed, most were of neutral significance. The impacts upon the Roman road and the rural historic landscape were of minor significance. The impact on the setting of Liddington Castle would have been of minor significance during construction, being reduced to neutral significance after 15 years. [Au(adp)]
