Abstract: |
The project consisted of the hand excavation, down to the subsoil, of a 1m by 1m trench, directly adjacent to the south-eastern end of the churchyard wall, that ran parallel to Church Street. The remains of a Roman wall, which was hypothesised to run under the existing Church Wall, were located in the trench. [Au] |
