Abstract: |
A watching brief and excavation took place on the site in advance of development. Boundary ditches and enclosure ditches dating to the 3rd and 4th centuries were identified, along with a corn drier/malt oven. A coin hoard dating to the 4th century was recovered in two pottery vessels from one of the ditches. An undated inhumation was also encountered. [Au(abr)] |
