Abstract: |
The assessment revealed that the proposed route of the pipeline lay within an area of considerable archaeological, historical and palaeoenvironmental importance, and possibly contained remains of prehistoric and medieval activity. Sites in the direct line of the proposed route all dated from within these periods which suggested a similar influence on the study area. [AIP] |
