Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in connection with the installation of a new water mains. Excavation was generally carried out by machine and a combination of test pits and open trenches were dug. Pipe bursting was carried out along Whitby Roads and only one significant trench was opened there. No significant archaeological deposits were exposed during the course of this work. [Au(abr)] |
