Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation was carried out at a proposed office development site. Palaeolithic finds had been recorded in the surrounding area, and an excavation 800m from the site had revealed the walls of a 14th century building. During the evaluation, quarry pits and rubbish pits of probable medieval date were found. A 12th/13th century iron key was recovered. It was noted that a watching brief would be necessary if ground reduction was carried out to the south of the evaluation site. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} WTW92 (Museum of London Site Code) |
