Abstract: |
An evaluation focused on a known moat and other earthworks prior to road development. A 13th century date was deduced for the 'L' - shaped moat and an adjacent pond. No earlier remains were located and the paucity of finds or other features was interpreted as absence of settlement in the immediate area in the medieval period too. [AIP] |
