Abstract: |
A trial pit in the basement of Ray House was archaeologically inspected during the demolition of the building. The pit, which measured 2.20m by 2.10m and was 1.85m deep, revealed no archaeological deposits. It was concluded that the basement slab of the present building had truncated any archaeological deposits which may have overlain the London Clay. [Au(adp)] |
