Abstract: |
Significant archaeological deposits were identified in two of the three trenches evaluated. These probably represented the continuation of an Anglian settlement previously identified and partially excavated in the adjacent field. One Roman coin, probably reused as a pendant in the Anglian period, some charred breadwheat of post-Romano-British date and a small quantity of animal bone were recovered from the features.
